The hexagonal body has been crafted out of black aluminium with a varnished finish. The 849 rollerball pen combines the simplicity of use of a ballpoint pen and the smooth writing of a fountain pen. For example, in one of the fonts 'Victoria', the letter 'V' looks similar to a letter 'D' because of the italic serif design.
